SOLUTION

EEPROM Error – On power up, detects error.

  • Cycle Power to the 1A, 3A, or 3W/G2™.
  • If error occurs repeatedly or does not go away when you cycle power to the timer, replace the Max Time chip located on the back of the 1A, 3A, or 3W/G2™.

92*

Current Sense Error – Current Off Session has started but bed is off.

If your timer is in the tanning bed, contact your tanning bed manufacturer.

  • If you are not using a T-Max® Sentry, set parameter 4 to 0 on the T-Max® 1A, 3A.

Check to see if bed is off or illuminates momentarily.

If bed is off:

  1. Check power to the bed.
  2. Check outlet bed is plugged into.
  3. Check circuit breaker.
  4. Swap 1A or 3A with one that is known to work.

If bed illuminates momentarily:

  1. Make sure T-Max® Sentry is connected properly (refer to T-Max® 1A or 3A User’s Guide).
  2. Have electrician check current draw on tanning bed. If the bed draws less than 10AMPS, the wire from the bed needs to be wrapped around the T-Max® Sentry one time. Refer to the T-Max® 1A or 3A User’s Guide.

93

Current Sense Error > Current On – Session has expired but bed remains on.

  • This is an indication that your tanning bed is on when it should not be. If your timer is in the tanning bed, contact your tanning bed manufacturer.
  • Have a certified electrician disconnect the wires from the “J3-Contact” screw terminal on the back the of the 1A, 3A, or 3W/G2™. If the tanning bed stays illuminated, contact the tanning bed manufacturer. If the tanning bed turns off, the 1A, 3A, or 3W/G2™ will have to be replaced.

94

Max Time Error – 1A, 3A, or 3W/G2™ reporting wrong Max Time.

  1. Cycle Power to the 1A, 3A, or 3W/G2™.
  2. If error occurs repeatedly, or does not go away when you cycle power to the timer, replace the Max Time chip located on the back of the 1A, 3A, or 3W/G2™.

96

Checksum Error – T-Max® Manager received bad value from 1A, 3a, or 3W/G2™.

If 96 appears on the timer in the room, the timer has reached its profit sharing parameter. Usually caused by a power problem. Perform a factory reset on the timer in the room.

* A T-Max® 3W/G2™ will not display this error. This is only in reference to the T-Max® 1As and T-Max® 3As.
