When you only need to control one tanning unit, you can’t go wrong with the T-Max® 3W/G2™. Incorporating the robust T-Max® programming, the 3W/G2™ is suitable for use as a front desk remote, in-room controller, or translator to communicate with non-T-Max® Certified timers.

Front Desk Command

Install a 3W/G2™ at your front desk to control a single tanning bed. The 3W/G2™ packs most of the same features found in the T-Max® Manager G2 into a compact package. You can Start, Stop and Cancel sessions from the prominent buttons on the T-Max® 3W/G2™. All these features provide an easy to install and inexpensive way to control a single tanning bed from the front desk of your salon, gym or beauty parlor.

T-Max® Communication

The 3W/G2™ is the perfect conduit between a T-Max® Manager and a non-T-Max® Certified tanning bed timer. Some inexpensive tanning beds contain mechanical timers but also the capability to connect a remote timer. Other beds use their own proprietary programming that is not compatible with T-Max®. The 3W/G2™ is capable of connection to these types of beds, and can either start and stop a tanning session directly, or act as an in-room conduit to connect the tanning bed to another 3W/G2™ or T-Max® Manager at the front desk.

In these situations, the 3W/G2™ is not communicating directly with the tanning bed, but rather simply turning the bed on and off. However, it does keep track of active time so you can still monitor lamp hours.

Boss or Worker

The T-Max® 3W/G2™ can be used as an independent timer, or as a front desk controller. As a front desk controller, the 3W/G2™ controls another T-Max® timer in the tanning room for remote single bed activation. The unit at the front desk acts as a boss, commanding the worker in the room, whether it’s another 3W/G2™ or a T-Max® Certified timer in the tanning bed. Up, Down, and Start/Stop buttons allow for easy control of your tanning bed. Screw-down terminals on the back of the timer provide flexible and easy wire connections.

The T-Max® 3W/G2™ is also “wireless ready.” Simply connect to a G2™ Access Point to communicate throughout your tanning salon without the need to run communication cables to each room.
