Here’s how it works
Connect a T-Max® Manager (Pro, G2™ or Touch) and a T-Max® Attendant Card Programmer to any standard computer***. The Attendant Card Programmer encodes the swipe cards for the customers.
One T-Max® Attendant controls one tanning unit. The tanning timers (either a wall-mounted timer, such as a 3A or 3W/G2™, or a T-Max® Certified Timer in the tanning bed) connect to the Attendant with a T-Max® Attendant card reader outside each room.
Simply wave the card over the Card Reader and the session starts automatically!
Unattended Control
Download the free T-Max® Attendant Software and install it on your computer. From there, client setup is a breeze.
Each client profile contains information that allows them to access the tanning sessions you determine. Enter the customer’s name, number of sessions they are paying for and their skin type. The Card Programmer encodes a card for each customer. Any time the customer wants to tan, they simply walk in, swipe their card in front of the card reader for the room they want to tan in, and the tanning delay automatically starts for that room. It’s that simple!
Select the minimum number of hours between tanning sessions, the maximum tanning session time the tanner can tan based on their skin type or tan level and the number of tans a customer has paid for. The Attendant keeps track of it all and prevents clients from tanning too often, and disables their access when their paid sessions are depleted.
The Attendant also connects to a door control device. When a tanning bed is idle and ready for use, the door remains locked. When a tanner scans their card, the door is unlocked. When the session is over and the timer is ready for the next session, the door locks again, keeping people out of the room when no one is tanning.*
The Attendant system can also control access to non-tanning rooms. Use the system to secure bathrooms, entry doors to the tanning area, etc. When the card is swiped, the door is unlocked for 5 seconds. It can even be set so that a person with no active sessions cannot unlock the door.
The T-Max® Attendant system is completely compatible with the T-Max® G2™ wireless system. This means you won’t have to run cables throughout your salon.**
